The Independent Police Conduct Authority's found police used reasonable force pulling a man out of a house to arrest him -- but breached their head injury policy in not providing medical care

The Independent Police Conduct Authority's found police used reasonable force pulling a man out of a house to arrest him -- but breached their head injury policy in not providing medical care

The man sustained a head injury in January 2023, in Kaeo in the Far North.

    He claimed he was assaulted.

The IPCA has not been able to determine the cause of injury - and found no evidence the force used was excessive.

Police acknowledge a medical practitioner should've been called to assess the man's injury.
