    New Zealand has recorded its lowest Labour Weekend road toll, in more than ten years


    There've been no deaths on our roads since the period began, at 4pm on Friday

    It betters the previous lowest Labour Weekend in 2013 when one person died.

    It's also a turn around on recent long weekends - with six people dying last year, and seven dying over the latest Easter period.
