White Ferns cricketer Suzie Bates claims the team will benefit from their 2-1 one-day international series defeat to India - the host of the next 50-over World Cup

New Zealand lost the deciding match by six wickets - India chased down 233 with 34 balls to spare at Ahmedabad.

Bates says the series following their global T20 triumph was worthwhile.
