Ryan Reynolds "can't believe" the number of Deadpool costumes he saw on Halloween (31.10.24)

The 48-year-old actor starred alongside Hugh Jackman in 'Deadpool and Wolverine' earlier this year, and Ryan has now admitted that he was amazed to see so many people dressed as his on-screen character

The Hollywood star wrote on X: "You'll never know what that's like if you're me. I'm five years old, staring out the window at some impossible future. People made mini movies and wore some of the best suits I've ever seen. Quoting lines, and performing stunts. Little KidPools to GeezerPools... I'm not aloof or cool about stuff like this - No part of me takes it for granted or feels entitled to it. It's like having a dream come true - but a dream you didn't know you were dreaming of. (sic)"

Hugh, 56, reprised the role of Wolverine to star in the superhero movie, and Ryan previously took to X to heap praise on his co-star.

Ryan wrote on the micro-blogging platform: "I met him in Sydney around 2007. Back then he was already a movie star and I walked onto set a supporting actor. Showing up midway through production isn't too different to starting a new school. I was a nervous mess. Film sets can have a scary imbalance of power and I remember seeing how he treated every member of the crew with genuine respect and appreciation. He made a case that the term "filmmaker" isn't just for people with their name on the poster.

"I don't know anyone more thoughtful, kind and classy than this man. He'll do anything for someone he loves. He'll do anything for someone he just met.

"In Deadpool and Wolverine Hugh didn't just make dreams come true for fans of Wolverine. He made MY dreams come true too. He is THE X-Man.
