    A rude awakening for the Canterbury Magicians to start their domestic cricket season


    They lost to Otago by 170 runs and 114 runs in consecutive 50-over matches at home across the weekend.

    Batter Frankie Mackay became Canterbury's all-time run scorer in the opening contest - where they were rolled for 60.

    She says they need to tweak their approach.
