Evidence from murder accused Tingjun Cao continues in court today

Evidence from murder accused Tingjun Cao continues in court today

Tingjun Cao is charged with killing Christchurch realtor Yanfei Bao , and is conducting his own defence.

The trial was originally scheduled to finish last week.

Cao says when Bao didn't show to a property viewing the day she disappeared, he drove around Christchurch looking for work.

He says days later, he was taken forcefully from Christchurch Airport, before being interviewed.

Cao says police edited footage of his interview, and modified the location - and deprived him of sleep.

Officers say he left the airport voluntarily.
