Former All White Jacob Spoonley believes Auckland FC's base of New Zealand players is the reason they've clicked so quickly as unit in football's A-League

Former All White Jacob Spoonley believes Auckland FC's base of New Zealand players is the reason they've clicked so quickly as unit in football's A-League

The table toppers have gone five matches unbeaten to start their history and have broken a 47-year record for the longest time a new franchise has gone without conceding their first goal.

Spoonley says coach Steve Corica's tapped into an already established relationship between the athletes.
