    A woman is facing murder charges following the death of a 67-year-old man in Gisborne two months ago


    A homicide investigation was launched after Wayne Tamahori Dewes died in hospital with severe injuries in late October.

    During the investigation, police appealed for the sighting of a person riding a bike in the early hours of the morning on the day of Dewes' death.

    Detective Inspector David de Lange syas a 27-year-old woman has been charged with murder.

    She is due in Gisborne District Court today.
