The Grammy Awards will feature a tribute to late music icon Quincy Jones

The legendary producer died in November 2024, at the age of 91, and his life and legacy will be reflected upon at the awards bash at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 2, the Recording Academy confirmed.

Stevie Wonder, 'Wicked' star Cynthia Erivo and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin are among new names confirmed to perform tributes.

Plus, Brad Paisley, Janelle Monáe, Lainey Wilson, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Herbie Hancock, St. Vincent, Jacob Collier and Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard.

They join previously confirmed performers Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, Benson Boone and Teddy Swims, all of whom are nominees.

The tributes to the city of Los Angeles comes amid the ongoing wildfires in the California, which forced more than 100,000 people to flee their homes, including famous musicians, and killed at least 29 people.

Grammys bosses said the ceremony is going ahead with a "renewed sense of purpose" with a focus on fundraising.

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said: "The upcoming Grammy Awards won't just be about celebrating and honouring the best in music this year.

"They will also show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need. We are thrilled that so many artists in our community are banding together at this time to show support for their fellow music makers and others impacted by the recent wildfires."

Comedian Trevor Noah is hosting the ceremony for the fifth consecutive year.
