    Emergency services are searching for a man who has been washed into floodwaters in northern New South Wales


    He was in a four wheel drive that got washed off a rural bridge

    He got out of the vehicle and secured himself to a tree branch - around 30 metres from the river bank.

    Police were able to talk to him - but couldn't reach him -

    He was swept under water and hasn't been seen since.
