    Police are continuing to investigate a serious incident in Matata, yesterday, that's left one person dead


    Emergency services were called to the intersection of Flax and Matata road just before 4pm, after a report of two people being injured by a third person, in a vehicle that crashed.

    One victim died at the scene, and the other is in stable condition.

    Detective Inspector Lewis Warner, says enquiries into the event are ongoing.

    He says the victims are known to the alleged offender, but they're limited to what details they can provide.
