Up and coming markets for New Zealand wine appear to be ripening

Up and coming markets for New Zealand wine appear to be ripening

The New Zealand Winegrowers 2025 Annual Report states exports are sitting at more than two-billion-dollars per annum.

NZ Winegrowers CEO Philip Gregan says emerging export markets in Asia have seen the strongest growth.

He says China shipments rose 47-percent to 56-million-dollars, while South Korea's increased 92-percent to 44 million.

Gregan says it's down to the industry now having product available, and their hard work in these markets coming to fruition.
