Sean 'Diddy' Combs cried as his children called for the disgraced rapper to be shown "mercy" at his sentencing hearing

The 55-year-old rap mogul is to be sentenced for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on Friday (03.10.25) and was tearful as six of his eldest children addressed the courtroom in New York as they urged Judge Arun Subramanian to be lenient

Diddy's eldest son Quincy Brown, 34, stated that his father "has learned a lesson" and has "completely transformed" during his time in prison, whilst his son Justin Combs, 31, hopes his dad gets the opportunity to "right this wrong and to be the man he truly is".

Justin added: "My father is my superhero. Seeing him broken down and stripped of everything is something I will never forget."

Christian Combs has begged the judge to give Diddy - who could be facing between five and seven years in jail - "mercy" by setting him free.

The 27-year-old - the disgraced star's eldest child with the late Kim Porter - said: "Please give my family grace. Please let my father out. Please give him mercy."

Diddy's daughter Jessie Combs, 18, was in tears as she addressed the court as she acknowledged that her father "has made many mistakes".

She said: "We know he isn't perfect. And we aren't here to excuse any of those mistakes. But, your honour, he is still our dad, and we still need him present in our lives."

Jessie told the court how Diddy "would always be there to keep us safe" particularly after the death of her mother Kim in 2018 aged 47.

She recalled: "When my mother died, I was just a little girl trying to understand a loss way too big for words.

"I remember my dad sitting us down that day, holding us close, even though his own heart was breaking and promising that he would always be there to keep us safe, that he would always walk beside us in life."

Jessie's twin sister D'Lila urged the judge to consider Diddy's youngest daughter Love when handing out the sentence.

She said: "Our two-year-old sister is asking where dad is. We are tired of being strong, we have already lost so much, our mother, our father, please, give us the chance to heal together and move forward together."

Diddy has also written a four-page letter to the judge in which he explained that he is "scared to death" of staying in prison - having been behind bars since he was first arrested in September 2024 - and stressed that he wants to be with his 84-year-old mother Janice Combs, who recently underwent brain surgery.

The I'll Be Missing You artist wrote: "I ask you for mercy today, not only for my sake, but for the sake of my children. God blessed me with 7 beautiful children - 3 sons and 4 daughters. I have failed my children as a father...

"I am unable to be there for my mother when she needs me most. As I write you this letter, I am scared to death. Scared to spend another second away from my mother and my children. I no longer care about the money or the fame. There is nothing more important to me than my family."
