Chocolate recipes to share some love with the people in your life

Whether you are into Valentine's Day or not, these chocolate recipes are perfect for sharing some love.

Whether you're in the Valentine's Day or not (it's this Saturday, February 14, by the way), sharing some love is never a bad thing.

These delicious chocolate treats are perfect for doing that with the people in your life, be they friends, kids, partners or workmates.

From the perfect cake to fudgy biscuits and no-bake options, these recipes are super simple, so doubling a batch if you need to spread the love further isn't hard.

    1. (no fancy equipment required)

Olive oil makes this cake irresistibly moist and the combination of chocolate with a subtle hint of olive oil is a winner.

It's also incredibly easy to throw together and you can tailor the topping.

    2.

For an easy-to-share-around option (hello work buddies), these fudgy, rich crinkle cookies are my pick.

You can make the dough a day ahead of baking and I can vouch for it as an ice cream sandwich, too.

    3. (with a simple vegan option)

If you love mousse, this velvety four-ingredient one is the easiest I have made.

With silken tofu, instead of cream, as the main ingredient, it's also a breeze to make a vegan version. Simply choose a plant-based malted powder and chocolate.

    4.

Rather not bake? Truffles are the answer.

Hot cream melts the chocolate, then just whisk in some olive oil and sea salt before popping it in the fridge to roll when cool.

Easy to make, fun to roll and decadent to eat.
