A man and woman have been found guilty of torturing and murdering a teenage girl at an Auckland "house of horrors"

Ashley Winter and Kerry Te Amo have been on trial for the past two-and-a-half weeks in the High Court at Auckland accused of murdering Dimetrius Pairama.

The jury took much of the afternoon to find both guilty after retiring to deliberate this morning.

17-year-old Pairama's body was found in July last year, dumped in a rusty steel drum inside an abandoned state house.

Winter pleaded guilty to kidnapping Pairama before the trial, and Te Amo entered a guilty plea at the end of the trial's evidence.

    Both denied murdering her.
