    A person is dead after a car crashed into a ditch near Palmerston North in the early hours of this morning


    13 people have died on our roads over the past four days, following eight separate crashes.

    Six people died after crashes in Kaikoura and Hastings, while another five were killed in Morrinsville, South Auckland, Whakatane and Rotorua.

    Yesterday afternoon, a child was hit and killed by a car on private property in the Waikato.
