Jennifer Aniston reunited with her 'Friends' co-stars instead of attending the Critics' Choice Awards

The 50-year-old actress enjoyed a night in with Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow over the weekend as the trio posed for a couple of sweet selfies on Sunday night (12.01.20), and she shared the snap to social media

Referencing their characters in the beloved sitcom, she posted on Instagram: "Hi from the girls across the hall."

Lisa also shared her own snaps from their night, writing: "Bliss. And more bliss #goodgirlfriends."

Jennifer - who played Rachel Green on the show, which also starred Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc - didn't attend the awards bash in Santa Monica, California, as she instead spent time with her close pals.

While neither she nor Reese Witherspoon were nominated for a prize at the Critics' Choice ceremony, their 'Morning Show' co-star Billy Crudup won the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series gong for his performance in the Apple TV+ series.

Jennifer and her ex-husband Brad Pitt - who got divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage - recently sparked speculation they had reignited their relationship after he referred to her as a "good friend" at the Golden Globe Awards.

The 56-year-old actor set tongues wagging earlier this week when he seemed happy about bumping into Jennifer on the red carpet at the event in Hollywood, California.

He said: "I'll run into Jen, she's a good friend."

However, a source later explained that their relationship is purely platonic and they only ever see each other at events and parties as they have the same circle of pals.

Meanwhile, Brad also didn't attend the Critics' Choice Awards over the weekend, as filmmaker Quentin Tarantino collected the acting prize for 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' on his behalf.

He quipped: "I agree with the critics for the very first time!"
