    Queenstown police are looking for a man overdue from a fishing trip in Glenorchy


    A police spokesperson says they were alerted at 3.20pm by a friend who was fishing a short distance from him, near the shore of Lake Wakatipu.

    The man was last seen near Benmore Place.

    Police have started a search and rescue operation supported by local teams to find the missing man.
