Canterbury have ended up on the wrong side of the scoreboard to Waikato in the Mitre 10 Cup

Canterbury have ended up on the wrong side of the scoreboard to Waikato in the Mitre 10 Cup

After appearing to have wrapped up the game after 70 minutes, Canterbury let slip their narrow lead in overtime with a late try by Waikato's Cortez Ratima.

Canterbury head coach Mark Brown says they ultimately lacked pressure.

Meanwhile, Otago have beaten Counties Manukau 40-22 in Dunedin.
