    Police have arrested a 30-year-old man after a firearm incident in Manurewa last night


    They were called to the South Auckland suburb about 11.30pm after a shot had been fired.

    Officers had to use a police dog to control him for being aggressive and uncooperative.

    The man suffered an injury during the arrest and is receiving treatment in Middlemore Hospital.

    Illegal firearms, ammunition and drugs were all seized from the address.
