    No certainty from ASB Classic tournament director Nicolas Lamperin that a top 10 men's tennis player will be available for January's event


    American Ben Shelton was the top seed for this year's tournament, coming into Auckland ranked 17th in the world.

    Lamperin says the event being close to the Australian Open grand slam presents its challenges.
