    Immigration New Zealand has confirmed the driver of a van involved in a fatal crash on Auckland's Southern Motorway was a family member of one of the Recognised Seasonal Employer workers


    Five RSE workers from Samoa were in the van involved.

    The driver and two of the workers were killed in the accident -- while the other three passengers are in hospital.

    The group was driving to Auckland to see family members before returning to Samoa this Thursday.
