Tribesmen gang members have been arrested and six motorbikes impounded for six months - after dangerous driving in south Auckland last night

Tribesmen gang members have been arrested and six motorbikes impounded for six months - after dangerous driving in south Auckland last night

Police say the group reached dangerously high speeds and intimidated other road users, and fled when signalled to stop.

Officers say the group travelled well over twice the legal speed limit and ran a red light.

They were followed to an address on Berrett Place and three patched gang members were arrested.

Two youths were also arrested for breaching bail conditions.
