Evacuees near a scrub fire on the outskirts of Christchurch have been given the all clear to return

Crews were called to called to State Highway 1 near Burnham at 1.30, to what would become a 30 hectare fire.
It follows a week of large wildfires in the Selwyn district.
Incident Commander Dave Berry says with the fire moving quickly through the river bed, three houses were evacuated.
Berry says they are now back, and a the fire is being declared contained.
One shed was destroyed in the blaze.
