An early Christmas present for sheep farmers, with rising export prices for lamb

AgriHQ data shows last week, the slaughter prices for an 18 kilogram lamb carcass is more than eight dollars - around one dollar and 50 cents higher than last year.
BusinessDesk reports the export price for lamb flaps to China is now up to around 10 dollars, up around one dollar and 50 cents more than last year.
Alliance Group's global sales director, James McWilliam, says the price increases come off global supply shortages, which coincides with Christmas and Chinese New Year production.
