Christopher Walken has been watching episodes of 'Severance' on DVD

The 81-year-old actor stars in the psychological thriller series alongside the likes of Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, and Patricia Arquette - but Christopher doesn't actually have the capability to stream TV shows at home

During an appearance on 'SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live', the host asked him: "Chris, after you appeared in the show, did you watch all the episodes?"

In response, the acclaimed actor explained: "Not all of them. I can't. I don't have the equipment. So, they're good enough to send me DVDs."

Andy subsequently asked Christopher whether he was subscribed to Apple's streaming platform.

The Hollywood icon replied: "I don't have anything."

Meanwhile, Stephen Merchant previously revealed that Christopher is "very comfortable with silence".

The legendary actor starred in Stephen's TV show 'The Outlaws', and the comedian relished the experience of working with Christopher.

Stephen, 50, told the BBC: "It's very difficult to get in touch with him because he doesn't have email or a mobile, he only has an old landline phone. We got the script to him, and then I had this call asking if I could come and see Christopher in Connecticut where he lives, so I flew to see him.

"Someone told me beforehand - which was great advice - that Chris is very comfortable with silence, and true enough, he's in his late 70s, he has nothing to prove and he's just a very thoughtful person - he'd ask a question about a character, you'd give an answer and he'd just think about it.

"And I would just sit there as well ... and think about it. So the meeting consequently lasted four hours!"
