Resale conditions are improving in New Zealand's property market

Resale conditions are improving in New Zealand's property market

CoreLogic's latest Pain & Gain report for quarter four last year, shows the proportion of properties being resold for more than the original purchase price was 91-percent, up from 90.1-percent the quarter prior.

Chief Property Economist Kelvin Davidson says the secret to selling success, is in hold periods.

He says properties owned for more than 10 years, will be sold for a lot more than when it was purchased.
