    The New Zealand women's sevens side have demolished Fiji 41-7 in the final of the Vancouver world series event


    The Black Ferns Sevens raced to a 22-nil lead by halftime, running in seven tries in all with 18-year-old Maia Davis scoring her first World Series try in the decider.

    One of the try-scorers Risi Pouri-Lane says they wanted to nullify what they believe is a good Fiji team .



    New Zealand now six points clear of second placed Australia with three events left.

    The New Zealand men languish in seventh - with Argentina top by four points from Spain.
