    Police are trying to find a group of people they say assaulted a worker and took items from premises in Auckland's New Lynn


    They say they were called to the scene on Great North Road at about 3:40 this afternoon after the group reportedly fled in two vehicles.

    Medical treatment was sought for the assaulted person but there were no serious injuries.
