Housing market momentum could buck seasonal trends

Housing market momentum could buck seasonal trends

The Real Estate Institute's March property report shows median house prices fell 1.4-percent annually - to 790-thousand dollars.

Listings and sales have increased five-percent and 13-percent respectively.

Chief Executive Rowan Dixon says this time of the year is typically slower - but there is still vibrancy in the market.

He expects it will continue for another couple of months before winter really kicks in.
