The Tigers NRL league dressing room has turned on want-away five-eighth Lachlan Galvin

Team-mates Sunia Turuva and Jarome Luai have issued Instagram posts questioning whether he's put greed ahead of loyalty, after rejecting a contract extension.

Galvin has subsequently been dropped to reserve grade after senior players confronted coach Benji Marshall, saying they don't want him in the team.

The 19-year-old has issued a statement insisting he wanted to inform the Tigers of his intentions so they could plan for the future.

He's on contract until the end of next season.
