A man described as Caucasian in his late 20's, allegedly drew a knife on a woman in the Wellington CBD this morning

The victim, who's shaken, but unharmed, reports a man roughy five-foot-seven, wearing a grey jumper over a red hoodie, grey pants and a hospital face mask, approached her from behind with a knife.

The woman managed to run away and dial 111.

Wellington Police are asking anyone with CCTV footage or in the area of Colombo Street, Rintoul Street, Adelaide Road, and Riddiford Street, between the hours of 7am and 8am, to come forward.
