Cardi B claims Offset wants her to "pay for [his] taxes"

The 32-year-old rap star filed for a divorce from Offset over a year ago, and she claims that financial disagreements are now slowing down the process.

Cardi said on a livestream: "The only reason why I'm still married is because somebody wants me to pay for their taxes

"Y'all wanna know the tea? The only way I can get out of my marriage is if I pay for somebody else's taxes, even though I pay for my own, and give them one of my properties. I'mma fight for that. This is not no love s***. I'm not gonna stop living my life."

Cardi claims that Offset wants "millions of dollars" to finalise their divorce.

She said: "On a contract, I'm practically still married, because somebody [wants to] hold me hostage, if I don't give them millions of dollars to get out of it."

Cardi B previously admitted to "partying hard" after her split from Offset.

The rapper confessed to partying "a lot" in order to take her mind off of her relationship troubles.

Cardi - who is now dating NFL star Stefon Diggs - said on X: "A lot of people have been saying that I've been going out a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot lately, which I have. Yesterday was my last day going out to party.

"I'm not going to party for a little minute, do you know what I'm saying? Me and my friends decided for a little minute, because I feel like we keep seeing the same people now."

Cardi - who married Offset back in 2017 - made a determined effort to not "over-think" her personal troubles.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker said: "After you have a break-up, you have to just live a little bit, you know what I'm saying?

"If you're in the house, even if you work, you could work and get that money, you over-think that situation and it's like ... that might fry you again. Not only might that fry you, it might make you sad. That might depress you. That might make you do dumb decisions, like hit up your ex or something like that."
