Halle Berry has made it her “mission” to make sure she finds time in every day to exercise, work, and be a mother

The 54-year-old actress has been spending more time at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and whilst it’s tougher than ever for her to juggle staying in shape with her work and home life, she’s dedicated to keeping things as balanced as possible

She said: "I've made it my mission to find time in the day to exercise, get work done and be a mom. I think during COVID, it's been easy to forget the time in our day to be active because we just can't do the things that we used to do and it's hard to find ways to do that at home."

Halle - who is mother to Maceo-Robert, seven, and Nahla Ariela, 12 - owns the health-and-wellness platform re-spin, and sells a variety of merchandise through the site, including a “Journal on Joy”, which fans can use to help them “set intentions and find affirmations” throughout their daily lives.

And the ‘Catwoman’ star has found the tool useful for her own life too.

She added: "I created the Journal on Joy as one of the tools to help remind people of what brings them joy. The Journal on Joy guides you through setting intentions, finding affirmations and manifesting your life.

"Discovering new, creative ways to stay active to feel inspired and energised while also making it fun when things feel mundane and monotonous has been key for my mental and physical health."

Halle says her “most important agenda” right now is staying as healthy as possible, and says she works on her body “every day”.

She told People magazine: "I have to work at it every day. I have to think about what I put in my body via food, how I exercise and all the ways I can work hard that will allow me to be here through as many phases of the lives of my children as I can."
