Iggy Azalea is thrilled fans can now see she wasn't "talking s***" about her new fragrance

The 31-year-old rap star recently launched her fragrance, and she's relieved that her fans now know that what she's been saying about the product really rings true

She wrote on Twitter: "I’m so glad you guys are loving it and that everyone’s been surprised to see it’s really unisex and not just me talking s***.

"It’s genuinely all I’ve been wearing for so long now. (sic)"

The blonde beauty also revealed that the scent evolves over time.

Iggy said on the micro-blogging platform: "Yay!!!! I’m so glad everyone is loving the fragrance. [heart emoji]

"Wear it for a few hours and smell it again because it does change once in the skin too ! (sic)"

Iggy previously revealed she found creating her fragrance to be an "emotional" experience.

The 'Work' hitmaker launched Devil's Advocate after pouring her passion into its development and she likened the process to songwriting.

She said: "Fragrance is so emotional, the same way that even songwriting is.

"When I sit down, and I’m writing a song, I’m considering what I want people to feel, even if it’s a party song and the emotion of happiness or chaos even sometimes.

"I have never really associated that kind of thing with beauty or a product before, because I just hadn’t had that inside experience or the ability to develop something, develop a conceptual idea and the universe of a product. I’ve enjoyed it so much.

"I honestly enjoyed it as much as making music.”

The sandalwood scent has been a year in the making and the bottle features an illustrated outline resembling Iggy embracing a red, horned silhouette.

The rapper explained that it was designed to represent the "naughty" side of her personality.

She said: “It’s representing that unabashed, unafraid, naughty side of yourself.

"It’s meant to be a reflection of that naughty, cheeky, almost the devil on your shoulder or that part of me that says, like, ‘Just do it, just go, just have fun, go out with your friends that night, double text the guy.’ It’s about embracing the duality of yourself."
