    The Labour Weekend road toll stands at four so far


    A 38-year-old female pedestrian was hit and killed by a truck an trailer unit southbound at Otane in Hawke's Bay yesterday afternoon.

    A motorcyclist was killed after a crash with a car in Burnham, south of Christchurch last night.

    Two people died following a serious crash on the Waihola Highway, South of Dunedin this morning.

    There were seven deaths during Labour Weekend last year.
