ACT's Justice spokesperson says there is no room for 'softly-softly' on the back of recent gang-related shootings in Auckland

ACT's Justice spokesperson says there is no room for 'softly-softly' on the back of recent gang-related shootings in Auckland

A house and sleepout on a Manurewa street were sprayed with bullets last night in an apparent gang-related shooting.

The night also saw another, unrelated arson at a home in Papatoetoe, which police say is linked to an ongoing spate of incidents involving the Killer Beez gang.

ACT's Nicole McKee says we need to go hard and we need to do it now.

Ms McKee says this Government has worked with the gangs and it's not working: we're seeing a proliferation of illegal firearm use, with homes and kids bedrooms being shot up.
