Tottenham's season is rapidly going skew-whiff

Tottenham's season is rapidly going skew-whiff

Spurs have lost 2-nil to Chelsea in the English Premier League and failed to make up ground on Aston Villa in the race for a Champions League spot.

Centre-back Micky van de Ven told Sky Sport they're losing faith in their ability to make the European top flight for next season.

Spurs are 5th on the EPL ladder, seven points adrift of Aston Villa, who do have a game in hand.

Not all good news for Villa though - they've lost 4-2 at home to Olympiacos in their Conference League semi-final first leg.
