There's excitement for Auckland's future after a new report on the region's economic post-Covid bounce back

Tataki Auckland Unlimited's Economic Monitor reveals the regional economy grew 10 percent post pandemic, matching the national average.

This is despite the region enduring longer and more frequent lockdowns than the rest of the country.

Economic Development Director, Pam Ford says the economy is in a challenging place now, but Auckland's resilience makes her very optimistic for the future.

She says with a growing population, the City Rail Link and the International Convention Centre by 2028, the city will be thriving.
