Prop Tyrel Lomax plans to draw on the All Blacks last visit to Ellis Park when they face the world champion Springboks in Johannesburg on Sunday morning

Prop Tyrel Lomax plans to draw on the All Blacks last visit to Ellis Park when they face the world champion Springboks in Johannesburg on Sunday morning

Lomax was thrust into the starting side for the 2022 match at the venue - alongside Ethan de Groot - as then coach Ian Foster fought to save his job.

The duo have been the first choice propping pair ever since.

Lomax says that's the kind of effort they want to summon this week.

The All Blacks side is announced at 5pm.
