Speed limit signs on the Kapiti Expressway are expected to change throughout this month

Speed limit signs on the Kapiti Expressway are expected to change throughout this month

The expressway's due to have a 110 kilometre an hour speed limit by November.

The 24.5 kilometre section north of the Poplar Ave interchange to south of the Otaki northern interchange, will have its speed limit boosted by 10 kilometres an hour.

The Transport Agency has told Wellington's regional council there was more than 90 percent support from submissions on the speed limit change.
