    Middle East war updates: Hundreds of Australians fleeing from Lebanon land in Sydney on the first of two repatriation flights — as it happened

    Hundreds of Australians who fled the conflict in Lebanon have touched down in Sydney on the first of two repatriation flights.


    The first of two repatriation flights organised by the Australian government has landed in Sydney.

    The flight carrying 349 Australians and their immediate family members landed at Sydney Airport just after 7pm (AEDT).
