    Hurricane Milton live updates: Storm moving off east coast but still producing heavy rainfall, hurricane-force winds over Florida

    The downgraded Hurricane Milton is moving back out into the Atlantic Ocean, but the National Hurricane Centre is still reporting heavy rainfall and damaging winds in east-central Florida. Follow live.


    The downgraded Hurricane Milton is moving back out into the Atlantic Ocean, but the National Hurricane Centre is still reporting heavy rainfall and damaging winds in east-central Florida.

    Rescue operations have begun in the storm's wake, with people trapped under rubble or stuck in overturned vehicles.
