    The Wellington Phoenix women are determined to make the A-League football finals for the first time this season


    The Phoenix have missed out on the play-offs in the three years they've been in the competition.

    The team has the honour of kicking off the season against Western United in Melbourne this Friday night...and captain Annalie Longo says hitting the finals is the minimum they expect.
