Police hope people will do the right thing and reveal information to help investigations into Arthur Easton's murder in 1985

Police hope people will do the right thing and reveal information to help investigations into Arthur Easton's murder in 1985

He was stabbed during an Auckland home invasion - and Alan Hall wrongfully spent 19 years in jail for the crime.

A 100-thousand reward for useful information is on offer until January 24.

Detective Inspector Warrick Adkin says they've had 20 tips since the reward was announced, in emails and calls - with some very encouraging information.
