    The Prime Minister is backing a public service meritocracy - as Winston Peters declares war on woke


    The New Zealand First leader's wants rules requiring diversity, equity, and inclusion rules removed for Government agencies and departments.

    Chris Luxon is confident the right person is on the job as they look at changing the Public Services Act - saying Public Service Minister Judith Collins is not woke.

    Collins says people want respect, not labels - and describes herself as the least-woke person.
