Michael John Topp was also found guilty of causing his baby grievous bodily harm with intent.

Topp's lawyer argues the trial should've been aborted after inappropriate evidence from a Crown expert witness, tainted the jury.

He says Topp admits killing his daughter - but her mother had more opportunities to harm the child before the fatal assault.

The judges have reserved their decision.
