Record floods have left five dead and tens of thousands stranded in New South Wales

Record floods have left five dead and tens of thousands stranded in New South Wales

At least 10 thousand properties have been damaged by the catastrophic weather, with many communities only recently recovered from Cyclone Alfred.

Despite the easing weather, 151 weather warnings remain in place across the state.

Emergency Management Minister Kristy McBain told Sky News, conditions are difficult.

She says they've also heard the latest flooding acted differently than previous.
