It's being argued small hospital infrastructure upgrades aren't the long-term answer

It's being argued small hospital infrastructure upgrades aren't the long-term answer

Health Minister Simeon Brown's announced a 100-million-dollar investment for hospitals across the country in 21 local projects and a remediation programme.

There'll be more clinical space in emergency departments, new transit lounges and extra carparks.

Patient Voice Aotearoa Chair, Malcolm Mulholland says the Government should be focusing on bigger projects.

He says they need to bite the bullet, and pump more cash into large infrastructure projects.
