    Usman Khawaja has sent a parting message to the media ahead of his retirement from international cricket


    The 39-year-old Australian left-handed batsman has confirmed he will call it quits after the fifth and final Ashes test at his home ground, the SCG.

    Khawaja says as a Pakistani-born Muslim, he believes there has been a difference in the way he was reported on compared to his teammates.



    The fifth test against England starts on Sunday afternoon.
